I am Jane Doe is an eye-opening documentary about the underage victims of sex trafficking.

This film portrays the long painful legal process that the victims and their families have faced in trying to hold Internet companies (namely Backpage.com) responsible for their role in this appalling situation, and the families’ determination to fight, no matter what, which demonstrates perseverance and a plea to think about what people would do if this happened to their daughter.

I am Jane Doe shines a light on child sex trafficking, a gut-wrenching reality that affects every community in New Jersey, debunking the myth that this crime only happens in the inner cities and in developing countries.
