Event Details

The Global Mala Project is an annual celebration of mindfulness that unites yoga, service, and collective action.

The purpose of the project is to bring the global yoga community together from every continent, school, and approach to form a "mala around the earth" through collective practices based upon the sacred cycle of 108 (108 Surya Namaskar, Mantra, Kriya, Meditation).

On September 23, 2018, the NJ Yoga Community will celebrate the Global Mala in Long Branch, NJ, on the Great Lawn and on the Promenade. 12 of the best yoga teachers in the tri-state area are offering their time and talents to guide the Mala.
